InBios International (InBios) has been a leader in infection disease diagnostic research since 1998. It was first to market with a Zika diagnostic test and now, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has recently developed two tests that have received emergency use authorization from the FDA.
In 2019, InBios worked with NexTec Group to implement and go live on Acumatica Cloud ERP. With the solution in place, InBios was able to grow and scale its operations even during a full-blown pandemic.

The Challenge
Prior to going live on Acumatica, the team at InBios was using outdated proprietary software to run its business. It had no capabilities to manage inventory holdings or raw materials and, as a result, the company was using spreadsheets and emails to run more than half of its business.
As the company grew, it became clear to Deszell and the InBios leadership team that without the right system in place to accurately account for inventory numbers, it wouldn’t be able to keep up with growing demand.
The Solution
InBios worked with NexTec to evaluate leading Cloud ERP solutions before settling on Acumatica. NexTec helped the company map out its current processes and made recommendations to ensure InBios’ operations would flow more efficiently and effectively through its new ERP solution. Following comprehensive testing and training, NexTec brought InBios live on Acumatica with no issues.
